Cindy Li '18

Cindy Li (D'18) is the Founder & Tea-EO of Uproot Teas, a farm-to-cup artisan tea company based in Boulder, CO.

Uproot partners directly with regenerative, independent tea farms to handcraft loose leaf teas in small batches, paying farm partners above fair trade prices. Uproot is on a mission to uproot the colonial, commodity tea trade and bring taste and transparency to tea. Fun fact: Cindy first got the idea for Uproot while writing her senior economics paper at Dartmouth. After graduating, Cindy worked at Bain & Co in San Francisco and then Talkspace remotely.

In her free time, Cindy enjoys the Colorado outdoors by climbing, foraging, and trail running.
